Heavy rain forecast for many parts of the country

The southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and Thailand has intensified while a low pressure cell covers Laos. More rain is forecast across the country with heavy to very heavy rains in some parts of the North, the Northeast, the East and the Southwest coast.

People in those risky areas have been cautioned about the risk of flash floods.

Tropical storm “Nuri” in the upper South China Sea is likely to make landfall over Guangdong China by Sunday (14 June).

well North East.  It's 600km north of me in Rayong Province, so that's fairly north.

Whers that?  We have had nothing for 3 Months in North Central worth a mention.

about 70km west of Udon Thani

Had about 15 minutes of rain at about 4 this morning just out side of the city of Chiang Rai.  It would be nice to get more.

Everyday they mention rain in Bangkae! forecast? nothing.

its only very HOT still? 36 degrees!

Had some rain last night. Very welcome for the farm.

In 12 years I've only known one 'big rain'. That was about 6 years ago when we had 8 inches* in 10 hours. It flooded the nearby salt fields something terrible.

* approximately 200mm

Rains here nearly everyday - Nong Bua Lamphu - storms not the steady stuff! 40 Kms West of Udon.

I think there s a Non Sang in every Changwat (province).

It's due to the Issan Rain Gods.

Bring it. Still getting city water only on weekends here in southern Pattaya Darkside. Mabrachan still only 1% of capacity.

We got about 1/4" of rain last night, 20 km west of Udon Thani, hopefully more in store as been little rain so far, least it has cooled things down a bit, was 38°c during the day!

What will happen when the hoards of Chinese decend upon Pattaya again ?

All those Tourists, and no water to drink or have a shower with.

There are plenty of new roads for their Coaches to travel on though.

Infrastructure money well spent me thinks - Not

Nong Bua Lamphu is in the North East (Very Isaan)

Good rain too!

First day ive woken up to rain or seen any in months,my app Weather.com naturally says NO Rain.

Can anyone recommend a phone app that gives you a forcast about you province.

Rained all night heavily in Nonthaburi, Bang Yai. I have lots of plants in pots and other gardening installations so a welcome change from watering 3 times a day when the heat is blazing.
