There is another Satellite map that seem to be more updated than Google Maps. 

It doesn't have all the functions that Google Maps has but it is more clear.

Btw, the Wholesale market that you see in that view is worth a visit.  They have vegetables, fruit, fish, chicken etc and with very good prices. 

You don't have to buy big quantities, they also have detail shops and with much lower prices than you can find in other places.

 

 

For this location, you are very right.  If only they were as up-to-date in more areas of Thailand.   A good example would be the new highway from Bangkok to Korat:
