Is the house book required for getting a residence certificate at CW?

Recommended Posts

I'm renting a condo in Bangkok, and I need to get a residence certificate from Chaeng Wattana. There's conflicting information online about the documents required.

These are the documents I have:

  • Passport with visa
  • TM6
  • TM30 receipt
  • Condo contract

But do I also need to have the house book from the owner?

You have to be doing 90 day reports to Chaeng Wattana immigration to apply for a certificate of residency there.

That means they already a have record of where you are living. No need for a copy of the owners house book.
