How corrupt can a country become ?

This happened before in a province outside Bangkok ! What's staggering is Parents were not even entitled to know the facts of this while this so called ' investigation' goes on ! remember the schools have been closed for 3 months more! As someone who has worked for some years in various gov schools, am aware of how corrupt the system is with very little oversight ! The School director had TOTAL power and wobetide any of a lower rank who challenges any wrong doing !

Corruption is endemic throughout every facet of Thai society - its the norm. 

 

Much of society would read this news without surprise. In fact, we [Westerners] read this news, with disgust, but also, without surprise. 

 

As lovely as Thailand is on its surface, as wonderful as the country is and as chilled and relaxed many of its people are, once the surface has been scratched there are also some disgusting facets which tarnish what could be a far greater country. It really is a shame.

Yes I lived in Thailand for many years and I am with you.

I am sure he will be able to capitalize on his wits at the prison canteen. 

If you believe he'll go to Prison you're unfamiliar with how  system operates in Thailand. Probably be moved to another school 

Next they should expose how atrocious the quality of the education the populace receives.
