Maybe somebody knows this.

My older unit died and UBC had me bring it to their office and they gave me a Topfield 6300IR to take home.

I can't get the RF cable to work at all. I can get video via the composite video cable but when I connect the separate red and white audio cables from the TF to the TV then nothing.

Its a NTSC Hitachi TV I am trying to connect to.

Any tips

I believe they were running banner today that the model you mention was being programed tonight (or some such thing). Not sure it will help you but if it works tomorrow perhaps it did.

thanks for that. Turns out the Hitachi I have is Pal also. I set both the Topfield and TV to PAL but still no go via the RF cable.

You may have to set the right PAL region, are you sure the RCA's are in teh right plugs in teh back of the TV?
