PHUKET:-- The Chief of the Phuket Immigration Office in Phuket Town is inviting foreigners who are concerned about their visa status ahead of the July 31 amnesty expiring to visit his office and have their extensions to stay renewed, or even have their 90 day reports filed.

PHUKET:-- Key Phuket tourism figures have outrightly dismissed the claim by a senior Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) marketing official that the “worst is over” for economic impact from the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that it will take a year for the island’s tourism industry to recover.

Dr. Thanarak Plipat says Thai people are inviting the return of COVID-19

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's exports are expected to shrink 10% this year, deeper than the previous forecast of an 8% drop, due to the coronavious pandemic and the strength of the baht currency, a Thai shipping association said on Tuesday.

Water supply in EEC to be augmented with more reservoirs
