I think I recall that this was one of the few simple ways to send money from Thailand to the U.S.  Are there any caveats or warnings current or past users would like to raise?  Anything to look out for or be careful of when using them?

Yes.  Maybe try it with small amounts 

Not so long ago they were advertising here that cheetahs can run 100Km/h. And their service is as quick as them. 

 

Thailand being 14000 Km from the USA. Every action with them will take 140 hours = about 6 days. ????
