SHOW DC expands sports offering with new 2,000 sqm golf zone

BANGKOK, Thailand – SHOW DC have expanded their already extensive sports offering to now include golf. The new Golf Zone is the latest addition to the established third floor sports retail which includes a flagship Nike outlet store, F.B.T. Outlet, Fairtex and OUTLETWORLD For Sam’s Sports, as well as the largest Fitwhey Gym in Thailand.

Regina Loo, Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer of SHOW DC, shared that, “SHOW DC is now open and operating as usual, and will again be the destination for sports and lifestyle. During the enforced closure period, we've been busy looking at ways to cater to people's needs during this “new normal”. Safety and hygiene are understandably top of mind for our customers and we have in place a detailed cleansing and sanitation programme that ensures our customers enjoy a safe experience at SHOW DC.”

Covering 2,000 sqm, the new golf zone is located on the third floor of the mall and offers new and second-hand products from many of the top golf brands. Originally planned to open in Q1 this year, golf enthusiasts can shop for the latest golf equipment, accessories, apparel and more, making this one of the largest golf retail areas in the city. To complement the sport and to introduce customers to the game, there is also a practice zone for customers to test their equipment and have a go at the game.

The variety of shops and brands we have ensure that we can supply every golfer's need from amateur to pro. Our third floor sports zone has now more than doubled in size and we're looking forward to welcoming sports enthusiasts from all over Thailand to enjoy some of the best sports retail available in Bangkok.”

The “new normal” post COVID-19 will continue to change and SHOW DC are responding to current customer needs while looking to future trends to ensure SHOW DC remains top of mind as a world-class retail and entertainment destination in the Rama 9 area of Bangkok.

Increased frequency of cleaning and use of sanitization products ensures the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the mall, with increased efforts on key touch points such as lifts, escalators and railings throughout the mall. Visitors are required to check-in and check-out via the government-mandated “Thai Chana” platform. Hand sanitizers are available at key locations throughout the mall and all SHOW DC team members, tenants and customers are required to wear face masks at all times.
