LivinginKata
Many similar accidents there. The big trucks are parked up at night to unload at the big hardware/building merchant store.

Deli
Just wonder if the truck had all necessary parking lights switched on and if the driver blocked the lane with red and white plastic cones, well ahead of his vehicle. SURE NOT. RIP bike rider !

They both appear to have lights on in the photos. One more data point. Had the guy been driving a car with seat belts fastened, we'd probably be reading about nothing, and the guy's biggest problem would be the repair bills. You think that claim has been made already? Regarding the accident, it was raining, my guess would be no helmet therefore no visor therefore no visibility.
