New Thai voice in Google Translate?
I don't trust my own ears that much since I'm sometimes using hearing aids, sometimes not, but I swear Google Translate has a new female voice reading out the Thai. It seems too that the pauses and intonations of the originally recorded speech get reproduced by the voice upon replay (rather than the whole recorded text getting rattled out in one sweep). -

But hey - it worked last time for Dementia Joe - although he had the excuse of Covid to avoid them and their difficult questions - so Harris is employing the same tactic but without the reason. After all there is too many of them to use the knee pads - even for her. -

Patently False. Lincoln was alive when it passed both the House and Senate. It wasn't Ratified by the necessary amount of States until nearly a year after his death. Don't spread misinformation just to justify your "feelings". A simple Google search would have informed you. It's a Thread about Music. -

Wise removes Long Stay Reason on Transfers
Strangely, I have used Wise for years to transfer funds deposited by my (Oz) Commonwealth Super Fund into my Oz bank (their rules require them to pay out ONLY into an Oz bank account in my name only). I checked the passbook (BBL) and the deposits are coded as "Transfer from another bank". I'm on Marriage Extensions using "money...400k..in the bank" method, so do not need these to show as "overseas/international transfers". I've always selected "monthly living expenses " BUT this option has also disappeared, leaving only "personal expenses". So, for last Wise transfer, done yesterday, I selected this and it was there within a minute or so. Also it shows as just "Transfer from Another bank" I don't know if this has any beneficial implications on the proposed future tax.....not showing as an international remittance, but a local bank to bank transfer ?? -

Yes i totally agree,this forum is slowly but steadily going to the dump. Too many topics are turning into a pxssing match and it is the main reason i decide not to respond or even read some topics any more. The maga crowd is ruining many discussions because there is no reasoning with them. It is what it is however and we will all see how this plays out. -

Thailand to borrow 2.59 trillion baht for 2025 budget
I am a bit confused. Why would and country borrow money to repay debt? Surely all you end up with is a bigger debt. The way out of that debt trap is to borrow more money to repay THAT debt. Now me, I would have thought that the best way out of debt is to cut back on spending, borrow NO money, and repay what you owe, -

FYI, thailand has already got agreements with most countries exchanged. Much faster than what i thought. IMHO, It points to the possibility that they do plan to use the system, and more likely that they may implement The change to global income assessment. -
