Unsure of recovery period DrJ, but 30 days won't cover me to my flight home on 18 September. Do 60 day medical extensions exist? My original plan was to hang out in Laos for a couple of weeks before returning to Thailand. -

Santander International
Has anyone else received an email from Santander International, they are now requiring a minimum balance of £75,000 or they will begin to charge £40 a month fee. The problem is i have had this offshore account for 20 years , i use to keep substantial sums in the account but i withdrew most of it because of there ridiculously low interest rates. They are offering a rate of 0.125% on a £75,0000 balance , I can get 4% elsewhere , surely no one is going to invest £75,000 at that low rate of interest rate and no one is going to pay the required £40 a month -

That's why doing it at the airport is a good idea. They don't want copies of anything and it takes 10 minutes. And they'll do the application form/photo itself for 200 baht extra. -
