Netflix reunites Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts for new thriller

Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts are gearing up to reunite for upcoming Netflix thriller Leave the World Behind.

 

Back in 1993, the Hollywood A-listers starred opposite one another in The Pelican Brief, the Oscar-winning legal drama that sees law student Darby Shaw (Roberts) team up with a journalist named Gray Grantham (Washington) to unravel a high-profile conspiracy.

 

Based on the not-yet-published novel by Rumaan Alam, Leave the World Behind will follow a married couple as they set off on a holiday with their teenage children to a remote corner of Long Island – hoping for some much-needed R&R.

 

But when the local area suffers a blackout, and the owners of their rental home they're staying at rock up unannounced, the family's peace is disrupted.

Thirty years later; that sexual tension isn't gonna be there. Better be well written because Nerflix viewers don't watch because they are great fans of those two or any other two.
