Swiss man found hanging off balcony in Chonburi

The body of a 52-year-old Swiss national, identified as Leif F., was spotted hanging off a balcony in Chonburi’s Banglamung district by a motorbike taxi driver at 1.30pm on Wednesday (July 22).

Police showed up at the scene as soon as they were notified by Wat Suwannasaroi, 56, and learned that F. lived in room 201 on the second floor.

Initial inspection showed no injuries on his body and no objects stolen from his room.

It is believed that he committed suicide, though Banglamung Hospital’s forensic department will provide more information after conducting an autopsy.

I detest Trump for a variety of reasons, and now he's given me one more. So what if Trump called? FIFA could have refused to take the call or it could have said no. You don't know what went on behind the scenes with Portugal. Ronaldo's offence was far more serious than Baloguns, and the only reason 1 game was served was because the appeal was late in being filed and there were 3 games that applied. It is hypocrisy to pick one event and not the other. The reality is that the Football federations are corrupt. This is a business, not a charity. FIFA will do whatever needs to be done to maximize profit. How quickly the allegations of bribery and payoffs that marred the selection of the last WC site have been forgotten. World Cup and Olympics are all about making money for private business interests, not sport.
