I wanna choose the last three options, but it doesn't let me.

In regards to "It doesn't matter. Money always prevails over justice.": Any news if the leopard eater is serving his sentence? It's been quiet on that front...

Charges dropped a few weeks after his father donated 300 million Baht to the Covid-19 crisis.

And somebody is supersized that the charges are dropped ????

But i think that he better can stay away as there will a few very angry police man when he returns back to Thailand.

They should have kept the charge and proceed in from of a judge that would make a decision. If he do not show keep the charge.

This would have prevented him to wait another 7 years to come back to his car and mansion.

Maybe the  would have dismissed the case in court  but the punition would be not to be home .

What do people expect to happen here in Thailand? The rich have their own book of law, I think it has 6 words written in it, “as long as you can pay”!! There’s another completely different Law for the middle classes and an even worse law For the poor, lastly there’s the flaw for the foreigners which includes a provision of “you can do almost what you want but it’ll cost you big and even after paying, if you don’t know the right people, we’ll still get you”. Thailand is a way corrupt society which will never change. A lot of the people here are just too dumb and/or a part of the system and been brainwashed In to believing that anyone who is in uniform or has a little power must be right.

Money always prevails in Thailand if you are hi-so Thai. Otherwise...likely to pay in more than just money, even if well off foreigner.

Actually, if you were aware of the Thai history and culture the actions or non- actions of the Police and the Dept of Justice would be perfectly predictable! In Thai history and culture it is not the role of the police or the Courts to punish "Nai" wrongdoers, that prerogative belongs to the "highest" institution, it has ever been thus! It is useless to compare any part of Thai law or process to Western values, they are just not comparable! Complaining about the Thai culture is like pissing in a wetsuit....it gives you a nice warm feeling but nobody notices!

My two bobs worth!

This survey/question could only be asked in Thailand or on Thai Visa

Anywhere else in the world it is a non-starter as the answer is beyond obvious.

That you can plow down a police officer or any other human in your car while drunk...

not be arrested..be allowed to leave country..not be extradited or return to Thailand to face court etc etc etc

Not even a legit question.

This boy is guilty plain & simple & I hope his karma falls quickly on his him
