MaxVaber
Hey everyone, I am about to leave the UK to go travelling for 5 months. First stop is Bangkok! The bad news is that I managed to lose my camera at my leaving party! I'm guessing it'd be a lot cheaper to buy one in Thailand than it would be to replace it here in the UK? I think i'd like to buy the same model again, seeing as it was fairly new and I got on well with it. Here is a link to the camera it's a Casio EX-S600. Can anyone tell me roughly how much it would cost to buy one in Bangkok? Also can you recommend a good place to buy it? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks! Your camera 215 quid. Cheers
cali
This camera goes for 6K baht in the USA, 8K baht in the UK, or 14K baht in Thailand. Conclusion: don't wait to buy your camera in Thailand.

Conclusion: don't wait to buy your camera in Thailand. Wherever I saw that cam, it was almost identical price: 14500B or so. Duty free at the airport would sell it for similar price but would give extra memory, a bag..that works out about 10-12% cheaper than retail in the city. thai4u
duty free is definatly the best place to buy as in addition you get a warrenty in your home country. In thailand warrenty not worth much .
