Such utter and complete nonsense and lies. The army was installed to protect these creeps. With both domestic and international condemnation and a huge degree of humiliation that followed, they are simply saying anything. Nobody believes anything Prayuth says anymore. He and his super toxic army have zero credibility with the public.

Possibly off topic, but why have the UK not included Thailand on their list of "no quarantine required" countries, when they have just been voted no 1 in the world for their handling of the virus:-

Could it be a sort of "Vote of no confidence"?

  • I think Prawit should be in charge of this investigation he would keep a good watch on the situation.

That's the junta mindset, not having to explain your actions.   That is why people feel the need to protest.    It is highly doubtful justice will be done.

How about murder. Breaking Bail conditions and fleeing the country. I am sure more could be added it isn't rocket science.

Murder must be a new charge is it cause that was never on the table.

Use section 44. Don't need a reason.

Of you really want a reason, it's called "perverting the course of justice" ofcourse it's a concept that the PM doesn't understand as he is guilty of it himself.

Which part of section 44 ?

Quote

Section 44 empowers the NCPO leader to issue any order "for the sake of the reforms in any field, the promotion of love and harmony amongst the people in the nation, or the prevention, abatement or suppression of any act detrimental to national order or security, royal throne, national economy or public administration, whether the act occurs inside or outside the kingdom". The orders so issued are all deemed "lawful, constitutional and final".

FWIW Following the 2019 General Election a new cabinet was sworn in on 16 July 2019. This dissolved the NCPO and rendered Section 44 void.

if prayut vows justice i for one believe him. now we will find out who the real *boss* is.

Well it won't be any of the current military or ex-military guys.

Arrest him for what ?

For getting caught /stupidity, should have done a normal Thai runner and reported the car stolen... wouldn't take a rocket scienist to come up with such an excuse...

Read an article (Pretty sure it was on here) a couple of days ago that said 2 new witnesses (an Air Marshall & a “Mr J”) had come forward & they clearly remember the Ferrari was only doing 60-70kmh and the Police Officer swerved across 2 lanes in front of it.

No explanation why they didn’t come forward > 7 years ago.

i'm carrying the bags

I have one word for this PM and his Government.

INTEGRITY.

something these corrupt bunch of morons don’t have.

They are looked on by other nations as being a bunch of fat corrupt imbeciles that look after their own.
Every one of the Thai media is just as bad, wearing out the knees on their jeans so as not to offend these morons.

rant over.

buy some listerine, spit it out and do your jobs, it ain’t hard

Shouldn't the Red Bull Heir be asked if he thinks he got 'justice' ?  Might not be the justice you want but justice has been served. Bought and paid for I"d venture to say.

I do hope his driving license has been revoked.

The Office of the Attorney-General and the national police dropped criminal charges against Vorayuth "Boss" Yoovidhya last month, without providing a reason, stirring public outrage about Thailand's entrenched culture of impunity for the rich and well-connected.

AND they are also investigating it,,,,

The Office of the Attorney-General and police said they were also looking into what led to the case being dropped.

very interesting concept of justice

Yes, leave the extra large envelope in the glove compartment of my new Bentley

I wonder if they will drop the charges against that nice Mr Thaksin?

I don't understand why people don't believe The General. He has always been trustworthy, right? He held elections exactly when he said he would. Oh, not yet?

One witness erased, other witness must be pooing his pants right about now

It is more likely UK incompetence.

Now everyone is playing the “I didn’t know anything” game ????

Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said on Wednesday his government would ensure justice prevails over a deadly 2012 hit-and-run linked to the heir to the Red Bull

Just more empty words with no real meaning.????

So the Attorney-general still doesn't know why it dropped the case what hope is there for justice? ????

Quote

Prayuth said a committee had been formed to look at what led to the case being dropped

How long will it take this hand picked committee to sweep this problem under the carpet? ????

In his defense Some years ago he did make some Wai’s ????????..

Once a country demonstrates that rule of law does not apply to the wealthy then that is the end of rule of law in that country. The wealthy will become targets of revenge because ordinary people will not accept that the law protects ordinary people. Eventually the wealthy will have to leave that country because they are hated and it costs a lot of money to protect them. Hence the country loses the benefit of the wealthy.

Read it was to do with being (something like) 120th in the world for the number of tests being carried out.

And that is irrelevant. They beat it. If it was still here, people would be dropping like flies, like in the heart of Zombieland, #1. The US.

It is gone. Let it go. Hanging on to a threat of a disaster is not healthy. There will be no Zombie apocalypse in Thailand.

What is he going to do ,They dropped the case because of time passed.A few minor ones remain. Can he  get the charges back i don,t know unless he changes the law himself.just like brother and sister who got away.the sister has to wait a few years then that case may fold too like the brothers has

too much hard work for him to get the charges back thats why flick it off to the family omg
