The big problem for Thai people is that they are convinced how to behave well on the road, here are some examples:

Start with red
Increase the speed with yellow and switch with red
Never give way to anyone who wants to enter a lane.
Drive without stopping to get to the cemetery first.
Overcoming left or right depends on which way to go faster
Get there earlier than what's behind a meter.
If possible, cut the road better in tight corners.
Get past a motorcycle as far to the right as possible by not looking at the car coming in front.
Overcoming in a blind curve is the must.
Look left and right and decide that the road is clear with red.
Obviously going against hand is a valuable badge in making known that he is a champion of the wheel.
Modify the bikes to make them look like bicycles and run fast behind cars without brakes.

They never replace the taillight bolb on a motorcycle as it stops the ghosts following them home down that dark road, car tyres sreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeching, *^)&^%(^%^%$*%#$@

if you lose confidence in your abilities to negotiate the roads then you become a liability, better to public transport than driving scared..
