MOTORIST SHOT AND STILL FIGHTS BACK AGAINST SAVAGE MOTORBIKE GANG

4 teenagers on motorbikes got angry when honked at by Mr. Naret (also driving a motorbike) then pulled out the gun and shot the man in front of 7 Eleven, Soi Khao-Noi, Moo 5 Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi..

At 00.30, on 23rd April 2007, Pol.Lt.Col. Thawatchai Krobgrathoke, Banglamung Station rushed to the scene of the incident, to find only a bloodstain on the road and a Thaipradit, (Thai made pen gun) .38 mm. and a shell casing from the spent round.

The victim, Mr.Naret Thong-On, (38) registration address at 67/62 Moo 8 Tha-Sai sup-province, Mueng, Samutprakarn, having already been transferred to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. With a severe gunshot wound to the stomach.

During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Naret was rushing to pick up his girlfriend at South Pattaya, when he honked at 4 motorcyclists riding around all over the road in front of him. This angered the teenagers who then stopped their bikes to ask “what is your problem?” before pulling out the gun to shoot him.

Mr. Naret even after being shot bravely fought back and during the ensuing struggle managed to take the gun from the shooter. Then holding the suspect until police arrived.

Mr. Samart Leangthanom(17), living at 58 Pakchong, Nakorn-Rachasima. one of the alleged perpetrators was arrested. Mr. Samart admitted that he was at the scene, but denied being the shooter. He also reported to police that the shooter was Mr. Tum, who is living around Rong-Poe, a known gangster from that area.

The police investigation team acknowledged that the arrest of all perpetrators would be forthcoming.

the police have got to get these punks under control. these shootings occur everywhere. 3rd road, thepprasit road, naklua, jomtien, sois off sukhumvit road. i was walking down soi buakhao past one of these karaoke places and one of the kids pulls out a gun and starts shooting at other gang members. insane. Mr.Naret Thong-On deserves some kind of medal for having some balls though. :o
