Tungmahamek police on Friday (August 7) called on the Bangkok South Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for 61-year-old Phiphit "Boy BangKrua" Srisuwan, who allegedly confessed to killing a man at a gambling den in Bangkok’s Yannawa district on Monday.

Though it has been reported thatPhiphitsurrendered, police have yet to issue an official statement confirming this.

Phiphit allegedly has a police record and is believed to be a big gambler who visited the Yannawa gambling den often.

As for the clip showing men removing surveillance cameras and other assets after the shooting, Pol Maj-General Jirapat Phumichit, deputy commissioner of Metropolitan Police, said one of these men had been caught.

He added that police are interrogating the man to find out where he has taken the assets and how he is related to the case.

Jirapat added that a manhunt has been launched for the other four or five persons seen in the clip.

A police major was among three people shot dead at the gambling den in Yannawa district on Monday night by a losing gambler, who was in turn allegedly killed by Jirapat.

Looks like this lizard won't be hard to spot as for who is behind it army or police will never be found out ????

He shot someone who was randomly shooting others.

Aren't these the actions of a hero who stepped up and ended a mass shooting?

Another big case heading down the path of utter confusion by the RTP...of course we all know that they are responsible for this den....it's been operating there for something like 2 decades...

An arrest warrant for the guy who handed himself in.....has he done a runner, or is he in a klong?

A couple of scapegoats later and it may fade into obscurity.....but the RTP will be remembered for their criminal activities.

All silent from the caring government!

hero, criminal in an illegal place armed with a gun ... just in case ?

hope they find mr bubblehead ... probably severe HPV infection gone wrong

I still haven't heard anything official about why the police major was there...

Another gambling den that was sanctioned and used by the police.

Time Prayut & Co started doing what they said they would do about corruption and illegal activities.

This is a man who did the right thing at the expense of what I'm sure will be a great personal cost.

How many more would be dead if not for his actions, maybe only another 4 or 5?

If I'm ever in the presence of a psycho who decides to start randomly shooting people I hope one of the local criminals who happens to be armed steps up and stops it before the bullets reach me.
