Thailand CAN manage a high season of residents and 'long'stayers', IF, repeat IF, the government climbs down from a Zero-Tolerance policy to a Managed-Tolerance policy and explains it to the public.

Your 'managed tolerance policy' has been an abject failure in so many countries now Thailand would have to be stupid to follow suit. Fortunately the Thais have been paying attention to what's happening in other countries helping them avoid the nightmare that living elsewhere has become. Keep it going Thailand, it's painful but not as painful as the crematoriums firing up 24/7.. 

The longer Thailand keeps it's borders closed the longer it will take to recover to pre-covid-19 tourist numbers.

It's a pity that the Junta don't pay as much attention to road deaths as they do covid-19

In another   survey done by "useless and co" 100% of  Thais  said  they  were  good  if  not great drivers.

So this time, they include one or two people, working in a tourism related- sector?!
