Six youngsters charged with murder after 15 year old boy shot in the neck

Violence erupted between rival gangs after a concert in Bang Bua Thong north west of Bangkok. 

 

Following a chase between six youths in a Chevrolet and others in a pick-up a 15 year old boy on a motorcycle - part of the rival gang group - was shot in the neck and killed. 

 

The incident happened on the Bang Kruai to Sai Noi Road. 

 

A total of five shots were fired. 

 

The young men in the Chevy abandoned the car nearby. Inside a .22 gun was found by police. 

 

The assailants did not imagine that they had killed anyone. When they found out later that the M4 boy had died they gave themselves up to Bang Bua Thong police.

 

Five were youths aged 17 and the sixth was a man aged 18. 

 

They face five charges including murder, weapons offences and having explosive devices in their possession. 

 

Three other people were also injured in the incident that followed on from a concert by singer Poo Pongsit.

No, that's real world, Land of smiles always was a scam

Why would there not be gangs in Thailand? Or guns, for that matter. Gangs pervade everywhere. Guns pervade everywhere.
