Bangkok man arrested for allegedly molesting woman, says he has done this twice before

Bangkok’s Bang Sue police arrested Chaiyakorn Chimkul, 28, early this morning (August 20) at his house in Ladprao district after a 21-year-old housekeeper filed a complaint that she was allegedly molested after Chaiyakorn offered her a ride home.

 

“The victim said she was walking in Soi Phaholyothin 8 when Chaiyakorn stopped his car to ask her for directions, and then offered her a ride home as a thank you,” said the police.

 

“She said the suspect grabbed her breasts when she was in his car and asked her to masturbate him. She tried to call for help using her phone but the suspect threatened that he would kill her using a knife he had on himself. After that the suspect dropped her off and drove away.”

 

 

Chaiyakorn reportedly told the police that he was neither drunk nor under the influence of drugs during the incident, and that he had in fact carried out a similar ploy with two other woman.

 

He was slapped him with the charge of indecent assault.

 

Police will also investigate his threat to kill the 21-year-old woman.

The woman also reported the knife was the only long object displayed during the attack.
