Seminar This Weekend On Buddhism And Meditation

Camelot

Recommended Posts

The Buddhist Association of Thailand is organising a two-day seminar on Buddhism and Meditation on April 28 and 29 (this coming Sat and Sun) at the conference room of the Buddhist Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage at 41 Phra-Athit Road, Bangkok. That's next to the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN and across from Manager newspaper.

It will be led in English by Ajarn Jeffrey Oliver who will introduce those attending to the practice of meditation. All interested members of this forum are welcome and admission is, of course, free. About 30 serious participants would be about right. Sessions on the two days will be progressive and run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Informal registration on Saturday is at 7:30 a.m.) Please feel free to just turn up if you are interested.

Further information, if required, is available from Prof. Dr. Phairin Petchclai at 081-860-3214 or Khun Busaracum at 081-552-3382. Prof. Phairin is the seminar chairperson and I have always found her to be extremely helpful.

Please let me know if you want the full programme or list of seminar objectives.
