You can apply for a re-entry permit on departure from the country at either airport in Bangkok. You do not need a re-entry permit before booking your flight. 1

AoChalong
Can you request a one year multi re-entry permit at the same IO (Phuket) when you apply for a one year extension for a marriage visa?

For example BKK airport you obtain pre passport control and DMK just after.

You do realize you can obtain reentry permit at airports I obtained my re entry permit at Suv but be beware. My old passport, which i was going to renew asap expired 5 months before my O-A visa and because of this, they would only give me a re-entry visa up until the day that my old passport expired. I assured that i was getting a new one, but they would not allow the visa to extend until my O-A expired.
rickudon
Bare in mind that with the current Covid regulations in force, the opportunities to use a re-entry permit are rather limited...... certainly multiple re-entry.
