  • Yes we are not in the UK or US, most people I've played with are easily fit enough to walk and have no caddy, 90% would prefer not to have a caddy. One day at Greenwood the caddies were away elsewhere

I must have missed something in your question!! No mention of 10am!!! Always Tee off anywhere between 7.45 > 8.30am.may have even been less than 2h.55m,its not something i see as a priority in my life.only time we go over 4 hrs is if there are a 5 ball of Koreans in front of us.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one (as usual) :wai:

I think the main reason that we don't want to have a caddy is cost -- 350 baht plus at least another 300 baht tip. So at least 650 baht added to the cost of a round.

No. Caddies are not compulsory at Mae Kok in Chiang Rai, or Gymkhana in Chiang Mai. Not compulsory at Haripunchai, Mae Moh, or Happy City either, although I wouldn't want to play Happy City without one.

As you apparently play navy courses, I think I can work out you are not from around here.

All courses around Pattaya have compulsory caddies.

To the extreme that our group played at Plutaluang and there weren't enough caddies, one player had no caddy but was still expected to pay a caddy fee !!

And most courses around Pattaya only allow single use carts, so no sharing
