More nonsense and error from yourself. You really should stop pontificating on subjects about which you clearly know nothing.

Time for you to stop now. You need to have a licence key to legally use Windows 10. End!

Nonsense, as is usual.

Real version? Do you have any idea or are you just making it up?

The only advices(sic) that are waaaay off the mark in this thread, is yours.

You are a little bit off the line. But you are excused. ????

Still not sure what the fixation is on W7. See post #18 on this thread.

A vendor installed W10 home single language on his machine and he wants to upgrade to W10 pro.

Easy, just but a license! That´s what I am saying. Do it the legal way. @Eindhoven Did you hear that? ????

Stop posting rubbish!. You don't know anything about the subject, yet you have made more posts on this thread than anyone else. Ridiculous!

No, I do not know anything. I have been using and working with Microsoft products for over 25 years and are licensed by Microsoft. You just come to Yasothon and we continue your nonsense here.

Matzzon is as usual wrong.

IraqRon, the cheapest method to get Windows 10 is to buy a Windows 7 key from Ebay, install Windows 7 and then upgrade to Windows 10. There are legit keys for as few as 3 or 4 USD.

I paid 7 USD for Windows 7 Pro keys a few years back and then upgraded all my computers to Windows 10 Pro.

Get a copy of Windows 7 ultimate. Forget Windows 10 altogether. It is not a step forward IMO.

What would I do in Yasothon? No one here cares about your self proclaimed 'experience'; especially as it was entirely useless and erroneous here. Embarrassing ...

No it was not! You should always buy a license key for legally using a company´s software. That´s just how it is.

Not got an hour spare to get a 'proper' version?

Well, not that I now have 10 home set up the way I want it.  That took me more than an hour when I swithed from 8.1 to 10.

If I got pro there woud be no guarantee that it would come in english as well thus creating more problems, like I had when getting 8 in thai lanquage earlier.  Just finding a tech who spoke enough english to get it change was a time intensive and frustration experience.  Not so easy to find in CR.

I just want to get a new key to renew the license on windown 10 home single lang. that is on the computer now without any hassle with the setting and language.

i don't trust ms to download anything to Thailand in english.

I have got W10 from Microsoft Media Creation, burn it onto a USB stick and install. During this process it asks which language you want. You DO NOT need a key in order to install W10 Home or Pro, you can add it later in order to get updates. Get one from Ebay for 3 quid.

Probably go to Lazada first as their cod option allows me to pay cash as I am leery of using a cc on any of these 3rd party sites.

Thanks for the info non the less.

You mean you would trust a dealer on Lazada rather than one on E-Bay? You do not need a Credit or Debit card. PayPal can be used, or other transfer methods.

They do not physically send you a key to pay for COD. It is emailed to you immediately.

To upgrade W 10 Home to W 10 Pro

Go into airplane mode or disconnect from the internet.

Change key to W 10 Pro by inserting  X3W8N-3WQCV-2MXDF-K77MK-7XMP6  (Windows 10 Pro Default Key)

Then use a key you've bought from E-bay and activate it. W 10 Pro runs on any language.

Set all settings to English.

Also bear in mind that the key you have posted is only found on dodgy websites on-line.

Use the official key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

And then go out and buy yourself a Vauxhall Cavalier or Ford Escort!   PML

Can see your point stouricks. A point well made about the cars.

I used W7 ultimate for 10 years or so, before I had to get a new computer this year. It came with W10. I knew after 2 minutes that it was a step backwards.

And when you first get a new car, all the controls are not in the same place so there is a learning curve until you get used to it. I have no problems whatsoever with W10 Pro after moving up from a Commodore 64, all the upgrades etc are good. Give it a go.    PML

Ms Claire, you are so clever! I just entered this key in my W10 upgrade from W8.1 and bless the lord it worked perfectly. Thank you mam!

I will share this with my brother's software shop in Kenya!

I upgraded from a hooky Win 7 to Win 10 pro and I have had very few problems until my desktop rolled over and died a couple of months ago.

I replaced it with an Acer AIO that came with Win 10 home.

  • 2 weeks later...

Microsoft Edge caused some strange things to happen to my Windows 10 a few days ago.

I had my email open ( using MS Edge )  then closed it and soon after while using my slimjet browser my photos on the desktop all changed from normal view, I'm using Windows 7 classic ... to the WINDOWS 10 Photo icon only, so essentially all I could see is the windows 10 Photo ICON and not the actual small photo.

Also, at the same time my icon font titles I believe changed from black to white and my font resolution went horribly wrong into a pixelated view that with thin L letters and the a thick dark letter.

Anyway,   I found Enable ClearType box and checked that .... fixed, also checked the box always show icons never thumbnails.   Icon titles are still white though.

Any idea why this suddenly happens ?  I did try system restore but insufficient space.  thx
