Thailand’s former Deputy Prime Minister Plodprasob Suraswadi and former Interior Minister Yongyuth Vichaidith have been released from the Corrections Department’s hospital after they met the conditions for the suspension of their imprisonment.

 

The two men are, however, required to wear electronic monitoring tags for the rest of their jail terms.

 

In March this year, the Supreme Court for Corruption and Misconduct Cases sent Mr. Plodprasob to prison for one year and eight months, after finding him guilty of malfeasance in office for the unfair transfer of a senior official while he served as the Permanent Secretary of natural resources and the environment.

Not surprising in the slightest. 

Suppose they will now go back to one of their multimillion dollar houses and just spend all they embezzled with free mind. Crime does not pay? We can't imagine how rich these two made themselves.
