PM says authorities won’t spark violence at Thammasat rally

The government would not do anything to trigger violence at the major anti-government rally on September 19, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Monday.

 

Prayut said he had ordered all relevant state agencies to ensure the safety of the demonstrators and not to allow any third party to take advantage of the event.

 

Groups of student activists will stage the rally at Thammasat’s Tha Prachan Campus in Bangkok to call for a rewrite of the junta-drafted Constitution, a halt to intimidation of activists, and dissolution of Parliament.

It starts off innocently enough then comes the iron will. My mind often returns to the word Thammasat.  Good reminder that nothing's changed, trust me.   

Yeah, just follow them home so they can be harassed later.

No the Authorities will not spark violence the but the unnamed men in black probably will . Who work for , guessing time .Not the students that is for sure

You can bet your life there'll be plenty of of close up photos taken though, just too keep them safe of course, uncle would'nt want anything untoward happen to them, would he now?

No they will wait until after then kick in doors and arrest a few 'leaders' to intimidate the rest. National security and the other thing.
