Exactly.  If they don't issue an Interpol red notice, he will never be caught.

You guys do realize interpol has no power to make arrests. If the Thai authorities are serious about bringing him back they need to request extradition from wherever he's hiding. From some of the sighting photos published, it looks like he's in London. Question is will the Bojo government acquiesce to such request if they get a counter offer, promises to invest etc.

Possibly a very good reason why the required paper work to Interpol has never been or will be issued.

How many of you other old timers remember when Duang Yubamrung shot a cop in the face back in the day. Skipped the country. Came back spent 365 days in jail. Now he's a cop.

Or way back in the 90's when another big shot killed a guy who out sang him in a karaoke. Bought the guy's parents a new house and all was forgiven.

Just another case of what Bernard Trink always called TiT. (This is Thailand).

Sorry may have some details wrong. ASQ addling my brain.

The Red Bull family must be p*****. They paid all that money and they thought it was all done. Now they’re being thrown under the bus ‘cos the government’s credibility is at an all time low.

Talk about no honour among thieves.

The bus cannot be big enough.

How about the powers that be just bring the little elite <deleted> back and make him face the music for his actions?  How about the powers that be also charge all the corrupt officials who have enabled this joke of justice?

Yes I know it's about as likely as me winning two multimillion $ lotteries in a row.  One can always dream.

Perhaps one or two missed out at the last serving.

and a few are hoping to be served again. The first envelope was to buy the Merc, BMW, Porsche, etc., the second to put new tires on it and fill the tank.

He has not been charged with manslaughter.

Ah, you still claiming that it was all just an “accident”? He’s been charged with what little this government thinks they can get away with. You might have noticed that their credibility is at an all time low. Maybe they should change their names and start a fresh? Kinda pathetic, but that’s what pathetic people do.

But why was he still not convicted in absentia like the Thaksins (brother and sister)? Are there also differences among the rich Thais?

He will be hiding or have another passport or name by now.keeping a low profile for a few more years to come now

I think Thais can easily change their names officially, even much easier when money talks.

So he may as well be in the country, and pass immigration on a regular base.

All that money, a huge reaction from Thais and international Press.

Shamefully suspicious death of witness during the latest dropping of charges, there was no way they could deny cocaine use, the Dentist made a statement that he supplied it as pain relief for treatment.

The Dentist supplied illegal drugs, as this drug is not allowed to be used anymore by dentists.

The dentist also made a false statement, if that is the case and should be charged for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Interpol doesn't "round up" anyone.

Yep.

People talk of Interpol as if they are agents with guns running around the world kicking-in doors.

Interpol is the exact opposite.  It consists of people sitting in offices sending paperwork to member nations and asking if  local police would be willing to look-for and arrest someone.

Interpol has zero jurisdiction.

Red Notices do reach all countries and airports, but it still depends on whether that country is willing to honor the notice.

Simple fix.....Put a Bounty on his head

He will be ready for pickup by tomorrow afternoon guaranteed

I know plenty of people who could pick him up in a couple of days........ Infact tell our lass there's a bounty on him and she'd wheel him in tonight, bound and gagged !

Waste of time, and they know it, what's needed is an Interpol red notice,

that's the only way of maybe getting justice.

Last time it took an age for them to translate it to english, anyway he can go live in a few countries that have no extradition to Thailand. I am sure he has a few passports of other countries.

The last time they did that, it took them two weeks to translate it from Thai to English.

Then a few month later didn't it miraculously disappear from the Interpol website?

yes it makes one think  Interpol is not short of brown envelopes either

More important is if the prosecuting nation sends a request for apprehension.
