PM Visits Chiang Rai to Follow up Haze Problem

BANGKOK, Sept 24 (TNA) – Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha is visiting Chiang Rai province to chair a meeting for prevention and solution of the wildfire and haze problem.

 

Government Spokesperson Anucha Burapachaisri disclosed that the Prime Minister met provincial governors of the 17 Northern provinces to follow up on the operation to prevent and curb wildfire and haze, and to hand down related policy.

 

There, representatives of youth volunteering network will report to the Prime Minister on the progress of “Royal-Initiative Check Dam” watershed rehabilitation program.

There will be new boys on the block next year so maybe not a bad idea to fly up while the trip is paid by the taxpayer ......... useless anyhow, as we all know

Very convenient to avoid the protesters in Bangkok and, taking the independent and neutral press, the rest is history. 

If they would be serious (and they are not as we know) they would depend the approval of the Tesco-Lotus sale on stopping the burning of corn, sugarcane and other fields with immediate effect as 30 years ago the field burning was no issue whatsoever. Took place due to lack of education of the farming folks then. 

Now they even close the airports at times due to the excellent visibility of the powers behind burning and, no, it is not the farmers - they just execute like the rest of the flock !

If you cared about the safety of your country and the people your esteemed exultancy chief of everything, then buy heaps of harvesting equipment Thai made are 6million baht double that for overseas ones to help solve the problem, and stop spending money on useless subs, etc, which only helps your cohorts enrich themselves. What happened to the requested budget of 6 BILLION last year? that one thousand harvesters + producing more employment in manufacturing. stupid old fool!
