The state-run Transport Co has ordered an investigation into the disappearance of 482 car batteries from its warehouse.

“The company reported that since December 2019, it has disbursed 610 batteries from its reserves, but currently there were only 128 left in the warehouse, and all of them are used up,” said the source. “Six employees from the Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection Office are involved in the disbursement of batteries.

“The company set up an investigation committee on September 23 to look into the incident as well as consider disciplinary action against the culprits,” said the source. “After the investigation is complete, they will forward the report to Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob, who will approve the disciplinary action.”

So far their enquiries have run flat, but they're hoping someone will be charged. It's not their volt.

These are not small car batteries as the headlines suggest ,but

big expensive batteries for buses, 482 is a lot of batteries and

money,it should be a Police matter, but they would say we might

be around in 7 days ????, no police, set up a committee .

and will need big arms amps to open the jumper lead clips.

The investigation is a non-starter, they're poles apart and there is no connection to the truck fleet.....

If arms and ammunition go missing from army lockups it not surprising that truck batteries go missing.

We have a friend together with his Thai wife and daughter who run a very successful business here.  Employs over a hundred people. A couple of years ago I asked him what his biggest expense was.  I was surprised he said theft, not wages or purchases.

Some bright spark will find out what happened.

I wonder what bright spark thought up this scam?

Car batteries or possibly bus batteries?

I am sure the result will be either shocking, or re-volting.
