BANGKOK, Oct 5 (TNA) – The government is realizing the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project to attract investments and will organize the EEC Job and Skill Expo in the project site in the near future, according to authorities.

The government was seriously implementing the EEC project and all relevant organizations had to quickly raise awareness on the project and speed up its implementation with transparency to attract local and foreign investments to the project, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said.

It sounds like just an army run industrial park, being touted by one of the least intelligent, most divisive leaders Thailand has ever known.

Much Ado About Nothing.  Gigantic projects for those in the know to cash in on commissions.  'It is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.'

'Workers must improve their skills' - Thai workers must first improve their attitude to work in general.  Overmanning, corruption, down-trodden masses have resulted in a work-shy view of what a job entails.  An average Thai worker would not last a month in Europe but die of exhaustion.

Unfortunately, it appears that there is no speed up of addressing the massive water shortage for the region's agricultural industry that is being predicted because of the EEC development requirement for water.

Seems a case of sacrificing low income agriculture industry for high income aerospace/electronic industries. Guess which industry best supports corruption?

Guess which industry is promoted by the former junta leadership?

So he wants Thai people to improve their skills on their own ???? I’m sure there are few resources on the internet that are in Thai language (as only one percent of the world speaks Thai) for them to learn from.

Anyway, there are likely only a handful of people that would take the time to study at home, and if they became competent, they would probably leave Thailand.

Good luck
