A side to Pattaya many people don’t realise exists

This vlog was not planned, I was out having a run along the beach in Pratamanak. I stopped for a rest, it was a beautiful evening and as I sat catching my breath I looked out to sea at a stunning sunset.

As I looked around I realised just how wonderful that moment was and that in its own right, at that moment, this was made for a vlog.

Well l thought it was a bar where none of the girls have their heads buried in their smart phones.

Hmm... i might be over simplifying things but didn't most people go to Pattaya(or used to) for reasons other than the scenery. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.....?

What was the wonderful moment ?

false advertising is strong in this one

What, many people don't realise there are nice sea views and sunsets in Pattaya?

Pull the other one, Dan.

Does the sun set in Pattaya? I never noticed that before. Thanks for opening my eyes!

you write so nice things, maybe this is why you are such a famous blogger ????

Actually a lot of his blogs are very informative, but they are so condescending. Everything is wonderful, awesome, fantastic, vivid sunsets etc..

If you read any blogs from the time in Koh Chang, it was like he had found paradise on earth (it's an island during covit time, so of course it's going to be quiet).

Keep up the blogs Dan, but easy on the superlatives..stick to facts,

In reality Pattaya covers a large geographical area and has always had something for everyone except fussy old ladies. Most of the old farts posting here, lost in a time warp, never had more than a worm's eye view of the place, a view they themselves selected to the exclusion of everything else. It's greatly changed, now, as well with much broader appeal than ever before.

Alas they have gone for good.

Well it didn’t take long for the real pattaya to come through did it.

Pattaya is full of beautiful areas but the young mongers and low class tourists only end up in Soi 6, WS or SB/LKM

I do go out to all the night life hot spots but I like to mix the 'nice' with the 'vice'.

I thought he was going to say he stumbled across the Royal Varuna Yacht Club.

Pattaya does have some really beautiful sunsets, sun slowly disappearing behind Koh Larn. Patterns created when the sun's shining behind the clouds on the Bay can be amazing as well. Used to take photos when I first moved here.

Yes, it's an old sailors' town. And now a city, and the center of the Eastern Economic Corridor aka Chonburi.
