Electric Oven

Featured Replies

I have had two electric ovens in Thailand, 1st one brand name "House" 2nd was Electrolux .

The House brand was very poor quality, the Electrolux was better but now after less than two years its

not working.

Can any members tell me a good brand name oven to buy in Thailand?

Cheers & Thanks

The Tefal range available on Lazada are very good in my experience.

Got a full size table top Zanussi from Home Pro six years ago. That's a lot of cookies and bread made with no worries.

I bought a SHARP EO-70k

Very happy with it.

I bought a Tefal juicer, juiced one carrot and the motor burnt out, no more Tefal products for me.

Your link is useless. What wrong's with a normal hyperlink? No one wants to click through something when they can't see on what they are clicking.

I cant find the Zanussi anywhere online in Thailand. It looks good.

We had a MEX oven in our previous apartment - It worked well for two years (we moved).

We now have a Hafelé in our house. My Wife uses it pretty much daily and seems quite happy with it.

We purchased our last oven from HomePro along with a hood and Hob cooker.

Based on my experience I would have said Electrolux was the best, due to the fact I have had mine for 17 years, it works overtime and has never missed a beat, maybe I just got lucky, however I will buy another Electrolux when this one dies

Countertop vs. built-in. Apples and oranges, ain't it?

Don’t mess about with tabletop ovens, make your own.

Get down to 3Khomebase, they are also known as buntovoorn in Thai 1 they stock all the “high quality” brands - now Covid is here they are giving away gear.

We looked at a small Teka oven with a free fitted microwave for 15K - in the end we paid 25K for a bigger wave and oven package. The discounts are even bigger now.

A local woodman didn’t understand a fitted cupboard and made a box - local Metal shop made a stand for 2000B.

OK slightly more expensive than a tabletop, but you can cook a roast dinner in the fraction of the time, bread and cakes rise, it’s a revelation after replacing tabletops every few years.

We have had 2 ovens here in Thailand in the past 5 years as well, both still working.

My wife bakes pizzas & bread every now and again, however she also makes cookies all day long as sells them and it works fine, day in, day out, naturally I would recommend this brand as we have had zero issues with it.

Our latest addition is the Cuizimate 70 Litre for around 6,000 baht

Are you still happy with your Hafle Oven?

We bought a Teka oven, it was a bargain - but 6 months down the line, the light and fan are turning on and off.

They haven’t even got a service team, pretty bad customer service, they offered to give us the money back, so I think it’s time to change, they have a local distribution centre.
