Household Economy Slightly Improved

BANGKOK, Oct 9 (TNA) — Household economy slightly improved in September thanks to economic stimulus measures from the government, according to the Kasikorn Research Center.

 

The center said that its Household Economic Condition Index rose from 36.4 in August to 38.1 last month and its three-month expected Household Economic Condition Index went up from 38.4 in August to 39.7 in September.

 

Economic activities were picking up in accordance with eased business lockdowns and measures to stimulate domestic tours and consumption.

Absolute nonsense.  In Chiang Mai households are in more pain every day.  Houses are being abandoned and no hope in sight.  It is a dreadful situation.
