libya 115
SOURCE: Pattaya People: May 1st 2007 Young Motorbike Thief Captured Pattaya Police Patrollers and volunteers spotted a suspicious Thai male on a Yamaha Mio motorbike while inspecting motorcyclists at the checkpoint in the night of 30th April, therefore called him in and asked for the motorbike’s documents. Chainarong Puncharoen, aged 19, was detained as it was found that the key hole of his motorbike had signs of being forced and broken. Since he did not have any documentation of the bike, he was taken back to the station and the team pressured him with questions until he confessed that he stole this motorbike from Wat Tham Sammakhee Temple area. The Pattaya Police then contacted the Banglamung Police responsible for that area to find if this motorbike was reported stolen there or not? Sure enough, it was! The owner of the motorbike reported the bike missing since 29th April 2007 and will be contacted by the police to bring in documents and pick up the bike. As for Chainarong, he will be transferred to Banglamung Police Station and further proceedings will be made on him for theft.
