Extend Student Visa

Featured Replies

Hello, I am a student from Germany with a vietnamese passport. I apply for 2 trimesters (01.09.2020 01.05.2020) at the Siam University. I got an 3 month Visa from the embassy in Germany for the first trimester. They told me that I have to extend it here in Thailand before the 3 month will end. The requierement for the extention is to pass 4 exams (12 credit points). My Problem is, I just need to pass 2 exams this trimester and 2 courses next trimester, because I just can obtain recognition for 4 courses at my home university. The reason therefore is, that I dont need more for my master thesis. The real problem is, that I just apply for 3 courses this trimester because I didn`t know about this rule. Is there something I can do to bypass the requierement?

Thank you for your help in advance!:)

You should ask your university about it, they have to issue you the papers to extend your visa, stating that you fulfilled the requirements.

Thank you for your awnser, but I already asked but they told me that they cant do something about it. My responsible teacher shows me this forum and said that I should asked here. He said "some of them are very creative" ????

He said if I just do the 3 courses there might run in some trouble ????
