I didn't read the article but Vietnam is the second fastest growing economy in Asia, or course behind China. They are using the same business model as China of keeping a Communist political system to protect a capitalist economy. The best of both worlds. They don't have to be fair, they just look out for their state owned businesses. It works quite well.

There are some good investment opportunities in both countries.
