Speedo1968
I had been advised by the officer at immigration when I did my 90 day report in October to apply early for 'extension of stay' early to avoid the rush, although the next appointment date was January 2021. A few days ago I went to get a new 'retirement' visa at the KK office, rush what rush ? only 1 other person at the office at 11am. Form filling etc took 15 minute. The other officers looked totally board not knowing what to do. I now a visa until December 2021 and a 90 day report in February.
Popular Post Emdog
In related news, yesterday around 2 I went to Jomtien Immigration to turn in paperwork for yearly retirement extension. Got #33. Big board said #34. Quick stepped over to lady who checks forms etc. Needed one more copy of something, which she did for free with copier next to her check area. Took about 6 minutes total, longer than I spent getting letter from bank or at copy shop. She said "You are very happy" (was humming a song or something). I said "Yes, I am very happy here, not in US, as they had 100,000 new covid cases yesterday. And it looks like Trump will soon be gone. 'like a miracle'".
