have you even been to bangkok? there are an awful lot of homeless people and beggars on the streets; silom, rachaprasong, sanam luang, to name but three areas...

IMO, the Pinocchio didn't do enough to create jobs for his folks. Where are the factories in Isaan?

 

How many people survive with a soup kitchen on wheels is another topic. They belong to the rich Thais now, or what? 

 

It doesn't look good to me, only for the ones who work for the government.

41% can barely make ends meet and another 50% will not have anything for retirement then (they can live quite nice off their income but nothing is saved).
