Now she have 5, she looks very tired (heavy breathing) so I put some water in front of her and some food. Food she took but it seems she is having some problems positioning herself to give milk to her baby's What I have to do, please help and advice becouse this is the first time for me that I see a baby born, I dunno what to do!!! Phil Conners
I think the best you can do is give her peace and quiet, turn off the light, let her deal with it at her own conditions ...
markr
Just make sure you keep the placenta, dry it out in the sun and hang from your rear view mirror... This will aid your luck!

elfe
one of my cats had babies two weeks ago, unexpectedly. all i did was to give her privacy by putting her alone in my bedroom with her litter and providing her a nice nest and kitty toilet plus lots of rich food. the rest she did by herself, and she's a wonderful mother even she's very young and this is her first litter, now the babies already openend their eyes and will soon start to make a mess out of my room good luck
Agenda
I was really worried that my cat had babies and one of them troubled me even more because he couldn't eat for 2-3 hours which seemed to be long as hel_l. I tried to help him but couldn't do much. You should go to cat specialised forums, and you'll find lot of helpful advices there on every matter - and you'll need those advices, believe me! raro
welcome to the club, we had two time kitten in April...best thing to do is leave them as they are, the mother knows best what the babies need. As for the placenta, make a search....

Hi alex, I think it is normal for first time pet owner to experience these things. Just leave the mother cat with plenty of food and water and give her a nice place to rest and she will be ok. goodluck
