Visa is currently extended until November 30, (tourist visa)

I was advised by the immigrsrion officer that after November 30 we will be able to get 60 days extensions for the usual 1900 baht fee, with or without an embassy letter

yes, even without.

i will attach the thread to by previous trip which was successful for anybody wanted to read.

he said try to get an embassy letter first but if not, don’t worry. You just need to fill in an extra form and give the reasons why you cannot leave.

My question is has anybody had any luck getting an embassy letter from the UK this month to serve them past November 30? I’ve just sent my email just now.

also this “form you have to fill in, do I just get given one of them when I am there as I’m sure it’s not part of the usual documents they email you to fill out.

i imagine November 30 is going to be a crazy rush again on the last day so I’m wondering if we go any earlier we will miss some days as I’ve seen countless threads of officers not stamping people from the correct date etc.

also does anybody have the link for submitting an appointment online as it’s been a hot minute since I done it last.

thanks

so what’s an affidavat?

Technically, a legal document that opens you to perjury type charges if you provide false information. Example of the one being used in Thailand in this post:

apparently they aren’t now, so what’s an affidavat?

It is a form they will give you to complete and sign. It has tick boxes for the reasons you require the 60 day extension.
