Thailand's National Astronomical Research Institute (NARIT) announced in a Facebook post that observers in the kingdom will have the last chance to witness a phenomenon known as a penumbra lunar eclipse on Monday afternoon and evening.

This is when the moon moves into and is partially obscured by the earth's shadow.

It will be visible for the last time this year in Asia, Australia, Southern Africa and North America.

In Thailand it will begin at 2.32 pm and continue until 6.53 pm.

The eclipse will be at its height at 4.42 pm after which the moon will slowly emerge from the shadow.

Hurry up! Scour every lottery vendor you can find for 232653.

Or perhaps 653232.

Or possibly 263523.

Or conceivably 356232.

Or rather 232356.

Or whatever.
