Video: Thais warned to beware in gas station toilets! There's something lurking in the bowl....

Facebook was abuzz with comments after a video was posted from a gas station.

It showed what "Kridsana Boon" described as a huge snake showing up in the toilet bowl.

When the poster started filming the serpent fled the scene and went back where it had come from around the U-bend.

The media and social media were rife with jocular comments about taking care at gas stations.

Daily News went with "Rawang "Gon" Hay Dee" in their still picture: Take care of your "bottom".

Was on the news on TV yesterday.

This was actually from Singapore at the start of the week. It’s not from Thailand, though the sentiment remains the same

"Thais warned........."

Not people warned but Thais warned.

Sums it up really.

Pretty clean for a gas station toilet.  Even for Singapore.

That's a Ty-D-Bol, a type of aquatic snake.

I've seen far worse put there by a human !

You ate some bad somtam and are on a bus(I had similar exp in laos) and you need a toilet asap!

You get the driver to pull over at a gas shop and there are 2 toilets--one clogged and THIS one--now what!?

I think there could be another thread altogether about me needed a toilet and fast in the LOS

Laos after drinking tap water once, another eating egg sandwich in vang vieng in blazing heat -- spicy thai food on a border jump in Mae sai, oh and eating kimchi in BKK after a 24 hrs flight across the world, on the BTS

Not the first time a snake has accessed a building via the plumbing.
