Does your monthly FTT deposit need to be in the same account as the balance for the combination route or should they be separate accounts e.g. Bangkok Bank (FTT) and SCB for the balance or what, I want to set up an appropriate arrangement for my 2022 extension, it's too late for my 2021 (it will have to be the 800k/400K) and I do know they will both have to exist at the same time during 2021 to achieve the 2021 800k/400k proof and the 12 months before proof for 2022.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Separate accounts. I had my application for combination method turned down for this very reason.

They wanted to see the capital sum in a separate account from the one in which my income was paid into so I had to resort to marriage again.

No great problem, but it did leave me and Madam Moon scrambling around for a couple of days to get the additional paperwork together.

I honestly don't see why it matters, but had the funny thought that they may be pedantic enough to expect it, if that's what is so be it, now to try and open another account without having a work permit.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply.

I've already planned ahead for the next one by putting the required top up sum into a fixed deposit with my usual bank, Krungrsi.

All I needed was my passport and my yellow house book.

A couple of years ago TMB wouldn't even renew my ATM card on an existing account without an up to date Work Permit, which I didn't have. guess who's no longer with them.
