I need to get my visa extention stamp on Sunday, when to go instead?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, long time not visit here. I have 20 of December as the date i need to stamp my passport with 1 year extension  based on marriage(my visa will expire on that day), however is Sunday and immigration will be closed. When should I go instead? Another question is if anyone can get the stamp with my passport, or they need power of attorney in order to do so?

normally you can go 1 month earlier, why not go tomorrow??

Now  is "under consideration" status. My wife went to immigration to ask and they told her to come back only on the date specified in passport.

Go on the 21st.... if you have an under consideration stamp you will not be on overstay. Best you go yourself and if you used money on deposit, may be required to show you still have it.

Go the 21 st of December, Immigration is closed on Sundays. You won't have any problem... Or you could give it a try the 18th in the afternoon as well...
