Thailand's chief of Immigration Lt-Gen Sompong "Big Oud" Chingduang announced the arrest of a 37 year old Egyptian man called Mohammed who was mixed up in drugs and mafia style activities.

He was arrested at a roadside restaurant on Rama 9 road in the Suan Luang area of Bangkok after information was received from an informant.

Region 1 deputy Pol Col Phakkapong Sai-ubon said that the suspect was on overstay and was involved in extortion and protection rackets perpetrated against other Egyptians who were living illegally in Thailand.

He had no passport but was known to have entered Thailand in 2016.

He was arrested by the Lumpini police and charged with possession of  "ice" or methamphetamine with intent to distribute in 2017.

He is now in detention.

How dare he use the name of the Prophet? Blasphemy!

The outbound Egyptian also got a jab with a pointing stick and immortalised in vinyl for good measure ????

Did they park a ''smart car'' outside the restaurant to confirm it was him?

I like to think they work a bit like Kit from Knightrider...

Not to mention he was severely confused if he thought he would find his 72 virgins in Bangkok.
