Flights to Thailand

Featured Replies

I think that I read somewhere that return to Thailand, (with CoE) has to be on 'approved flight'  Can anyone point me to the  official list of approved flights or airlines.  I have looked on Expedia and not as many airlines offering flights to BKK as normal.  Can I assume that any flight offered is an approved one?   Thinking of KLM or SWISS as the best I can see at the moment.

I have applied fro CoE and been given approval , so now I have to give flight and ASQ details.

A German mate with Thai wife has his papers complete and will fly via Zurich (SWISS).

2. Repatriation Flight

The Thai Government organizes repatriation flights for Thai nationals to return to Thailand
on a regular basis. For the coming month, repatriation flights on various airlines have been
scheduled for the following days:

December 2020

  • Arriving in Thailand on 17 December 2020 – Cathay Pacific
  • Arriving in Thailand on 18 December 2020 – Etihad Airways
  • Arriving in Thailand on 24 December 2020 – Asiana Airlines
  • Arriving in Thailand on 25 December 2020 – EVA Air
  • Arriving in Thailand on 31 December 2020 – Korean Air

Usually updated on a regular basis on Thai Embassy/Consulate websites.

The embassy website where you are applying for the COE should have info about the flights.

I don't understand why they haven't updated the list of approved flights for January.

That list is only for repatriation flights for Thais.

The page a link to that was posted in the first post shows them to March.

I missed that link, I'm relieved to see my Qatar flight number on that list.

So where does this leave us from the US.?

Assuming I would be willing to jump all the hoops and hurdels ,could I fly ,using FFMiles on Japan Air to Haneida , not get out of the airport ,just transferring and then get on this semi commercial flight to BKK?

My partner and our son have vouchers for B.A. who have now suspended their LHR -BKK flights to Nov. the 1st. I am awaiting their response what they propose to do re the vouchers as we will be going back before then.

DEMAND full refund.

DEMAND

The tickets are 1 way, at the time of the first cancellation I requested vouchers thinking that they could return in the short term but now obviously not.

I have since requested a refund but B.A. said they don’t refund vouchers for 1 way tickets. Obviously the situation has now changed as B.A. have now suspended flights so I will be chasing them up for a refund.

Albert Zweistein said demand full refund, TV missed some of it.

I believe this is only for flights within the EU ?

As far as I know departing from the EU.

Departure was from Bangkok return from Newcastle,  I am chasing it up now with B.A although they can be a bit slow to reply. Once I receive their reply I will decide on my next move, if I receive a refund then I then have to pay for 2 new single fares, the refund won’t cover them, I was hanging on hoping B.A. would resume flights.

No it covers all flights departing the EU but also covers travelling to an EU/EEA member state on an airline based in an EU/EEA member state.
