Sattahip: Vagrant picked up after threatening schoolkids with a spoon and fork

Sattahip police were called to the Torung market after a man started going after school children armed with a spoon and fork yesterday afternoon.

 

The man dressed in a black shirt and army style pants gave some rambling answers to questions. 

 

Neither his name or age could be ascertained. It appeared he had no relatives in the area.

 

Narongwit, 35, the owner of a food stall said he was a vagrant who had been in the area wandering about for about a year. Though he sometimes had a knife he had not attacked anyone. 

 

He begged for food scraps.

 

Things took a turn from the worse on Monday however. He was taken away to the police station and the relevant authorities contacted to try and help him.

Did he threaten to eat them alive?

Just a thought.  You know we always ' Knife and fork ' when asking for eating irons . We never say  ' I need a forkin knife.'

The article says he was reported after wandering for a year and begging for food in the area. Perhaps someone took pity on him and reporting him to the police was the best way to get him some help

Were the utensils plastic?  If not he has stolen them from a hi-so restaurant.

At least he was well prepared by bringing his own utensils.
