I have been here just over 2 years on an ed visa. Due to personal issues I failed my classes last term so the college is canceling my ed visa. They said they will provide a new ed visa in March as I have already registered for classes beginning then.  I was instructed to take my cancelation letter to Changwattana they will cancel the ed extension and issue me a "covid visa" I find no information on this. So 2 questions. Firstly is it possible that some sort of visa will be issued? And secondly what paperwork do I need? I've read every page of the thai immigration website and found nothing

It's an extension, not a visa, which is probably the reason why you didn't find information about it.

Put this into Google: "site:thaivisa.com covid extension"
